All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
   Second, it is violently opposed; and
   Third, it is accepted as self-evident.

Harold,

Thanks for your concern.  Some people around Springfield had a hard time-----I believe some lives were lost.

Our bad weather is supposed to be this afternoon.  We are SE of Springfield.  We live in a deep holler so usually don't get the wind so bad,  but I'll be glad when the cold front gets here and things calm down.  The low was in the 60's last night.

We're ok.  I think the storms will be moving out by mid-day.  I haven't checked for damage yet.

DonT know why they can't keep them tornadoes in Kansas and Oklahoma ???

Dad has been in two tornadoes and mom in one.  I don't want to be in one!! ::)

Glad y'all are unscathed.

Hey, I lived and worked in Ellington, MO for a few months back in '95.  I was near a state forest (Deer Run, maybe?).  That's a nice part of the world.
