I was gonna say a totem pole, but I'm pretty DanG sure youre supposed to carve them from the outside of the log ;D

My guess now is that you are going to bolt it to the wall and use it for a gun safe. who would ever think of looking inside a log for a stash of guns?

I think pigman is onto it, and it's a feeding trough for the WM table for at da piggy roast. Or it will be filled with ice and have the water bottles and pop cans in there cooling off.

We used to have something that looked kinda like that when I was in the service.  It hung on the wall in the latrine and you could line up a whole squad at it at one time.  ;D
