Hi guys, just a quick question....

Isnt the blade supposed to spin free when the engine is off, so a guy can sharpen and what not....
Mine often times stays locked in with the engine (sometimes), make it hard to turn the blade by hand. Also it seems a bit noisy when you shut the engine of, a couple of clanks often followed by a backfire..

Just a couple of things to add...

The clunking noise is the normal noise as the brake engages and disengages while at idle.

The best way to keep it from locking is to bring the engine down to idle every time before shutdown, and let the blade spin down.
