We put the 5 bent frame up Saturday and Sunday.  It was raining and in the low 40's on Saturday but people still showed up.  Everything went great.  All bent went up on the first day and on Sunday we finished the last two connecting girts, placed the purlins and finished pegging the joints.  Most of the bents went up by hand and we had 20 to 25 people doing the lifting.

The Celtic violin and Near-blind James & Harmonica Bob kept all in good spirits.

People brought their tools and equipment and one FF member brought a man-lift.  It was great for setting the purlins etc and we were alse able to use it to enclose the structure with a big tarp over the top and tarp walls around the side.  A non FF buddy of mine Jack brought his professional video equipment and even had microphones on people during the raising.  He is going to prepare a DVD of it.

All are tired but happy.  Thanks to Scott and Bob from the FF for joining us and thanks to the others.

Photos to follow soon

P.S. The timber stretcher was only needed for three connecting girts!
