what is the best way to tune up a husky saw after the gas has been left in it more than 6 months ? :)

How do you clean a carb ?

Ianab

Tip out the old gas, fill it up and pull the cord till it starts. 90% chance that it will start (maybe need a few more pulls on the cord)
Run it part throttle / fast idle for a few minutes and make sure it's running smooth. Yes old gas isn't good for a saw, but chances are that fresh gas will be all it needs.
If you cant get it running, or it doesn't seem to run right then you may need to clean out and rebuild the carb, but worry about that after you try new gas.
