'Bout time to upgrade my mill on this thread. Though still a CSM, it is a pretty good move up. Price was way less than a new saw. An old write up on it

LOL, got about 1200 bd feet sawn so far.  Having only sawn on a woodmizer once before, so far I am loving it.  Used to have a homemade rig, but this mill is so much better it isn't funny.. 8)

thanks tom   i just got it set up and sawing last week cut 8500 bdft of cypress but we work a 44 hour work week instead of 40. This week we will be sawing mixed wood logs to big for local scragg mill 26-34 dia.  he can only saw up to 22" . I am looking forward to see how the b20 handles the bigger logs. Its sure a big step up from my Hudson oscar 228 i have been sawing on for the last 7 or 8 years.  Do you saw full time ?

sandsawmill14,

No, I'm not full-time.  I am retired and most of my work is on the road.  Almost exclusively hardwoods, my clients may have from 1 to 20 logs.  Your 8500 bf week is a good month for me.  I cover more than 18,000 square miles.  As far as I know, I am the only actively mobile, portable sawmill within 50 miles.

that sounds like alot of driving.  We bought the timberking for portable work. I have 2 jobs for the big mills 1 is a scragg mill so i saw the big logs (over 24") for him  the other mill im sawing red and white oak grade logs that have been under water sprinklers since april or may  its amazing to see logs in a pile for 6 months still have green leaves

Brand new LT35 hydraulic. Support equipment includes Sthil 440 chainsaw, 650 Kawasaki 4 wheeler with homemade logging arch (Christmas gift from my wife several years back - she was afraid I'd kill myself pulling too large logs down our steep hills without one). Going to have to get something bigger and heavier and not enough weight to pull a very big log.
