Here is my first post.  Hopefully will be used in my barn some day.  8 X 8 x 10' red oak.

This was the total for the day - a shortened day - but still not bad.

Way to go!  No feeling better than a load of fresh lumber and the smell of sawdust in the wind!

Looks like a fine way to spend the day.

I spent the afternoon trying to pull a heater out of a case track hoe.

You are so lucky!!!

Pat - I cut the back of the sofa off, laid it face down and took another board out of it, then lowered the saw and took another board off the bottom "seat".  I actually skimmed the top of one of the bunks on the last cut.  Wasn't much left of that log!

Tom - sorry to hear about your days adventure.  Tomorrow is another day...

Kirk - you said it!  When I walk outside now the air is heavy with the perfume of fresh cut red and white oak.  The wife says it stinks, but I love it!

Pat I'll save one for you next time.  You're not going to be able to do that with your bandmill, although you will be able to make that post a lot faster than I did!

Maybe- but you got some lumber stacked Troy, and I haven't even cut a board yet with my new mill..  ;D :D

I got 100 posts now though..  8)
