Welcome aboard Coffeeman.  I bet there is a story behind that name 8)

We have a few Mighty Might millers here.

I am sure Frank will pipe in to help you out.  He is in Oregan as well and he does a fair bit of business with the fir.

Welcome to the best site on the net!

PS: Hit your caps lock on the key board.  All caps is like yelling ;D

Coffee,

The only problem with your MM 9X12 cutting 1 inch materal will be your saw dust pile, it will get awful big. The MM that I have seen use a blade that has a 3/8inch kurf, for every three board you saw, one will be in the sawdust pile.

If you are going to saw a lot of 1 inch material, a band mill would save you a lot of lumber.

Welcome a board, Coffeeman.  Whereabouts are you located in Oregon?  I am in Dallas area, myself.   Gee two new Pacific Northwesterners today. 8) 8) 8)
