Sorry chaps and chapets, but i'm going to change my id and go underground again,
i'll come back to this forum with a new name and life, and to live a quiet life hoping they wont find me again,

but to be frank, i dont think it will last very long, what with modern technology progressing at the pace it is

one can but always live in hope no matter what

I hate junk mail. Can't STAND IT.

I don't get cross often, but I sure do when people send me emails THEY think are funny, or important (and usually full of sh-ugar) and send it to EVERYONe in their address book using the CC button.

You can be DANG sure there's some other idiot on that list who just forwards it to THEIR whole address book without removing the names...

then another one on THAT address book...  etc....

THAT's how your email address gets onto mailing lists (unless you are silly enough to use your 'good' email on the net).

So...  If someone ever sends me an email with hundreds of other CC's on it, they get a rather curt 'don't do this again please' email in return. some just don't learn, though :(

The other thing I do is whenever I need to sign up on a forum or website, I use that website as the first bit of the email (as I own my own domain...) so they end up for example...   forestryforum @mydomain.com    or    wetcanvas @mydomain.com   etc... and have my standard inbox collect them all...

That way, if I DO end up with junk mail, I know EXACTLY where it came from!
