Tomorrow morning I am going to start in building trailer that I can carry some logs I see laying in the desert, because I had very hard time putting  4 logs in my GMC pickup, so a friend suggested that I build 4 meter by 1.70 meter trailer with 4 tires to carry the logs and it it more safer than damaging the pickup. I am looking for suggestion ideas when it comes in building the trailers or has anybody built one before.
I appreciate all types of help.
I will post photo when it is done.

there are many pictures in the archives of trailers.

removable fenders are nice so you can use ramps and roll logs onto the trailer from the side (parbuckling).

heavy axles and a heavy frame are good for a trailer to haul logs

trailer brakes are necessary

lots of dull bands and chains

There's a fine line between turning firewood into beautiful things and beautiful things into firewood.
