Made it !!!!!!!!  Airport was the quickest I ever went through. Sure beats what the USA has in place for Security. Here, they check your passport, accept the duties declaration, and you go downstairs to grab your luggage and run it through the X-ray scanner, and out the door.  Sometimes takes 30 minutes total, most times are 10 minutes or so, total.

Weather is frio, mucho frio, around 70º or so, and cloudy and windy. Feels like 60º  ;D :D :D.

Now, I gotta catch up on the postings. Fred, I'll call ya Mañana.

Thanks, Reid. No problem wearing out down here. Most all the ground is up or down.

I wish I could smell the vegetation, I'll bet it is lush. Spent a years or so in Hawaii and 5 trips to the Volcanoes around Mexico city (drove from Pa. 4 times :o) I love the heightened awareness when your in new digs. Enjoy the cyber cafe and don't go to hard on the senoiritas. Reid

Looking forward to your call tomorrow.

'Peers to me that ya hafta speak Spanish to read this thread.  What's a Chorizo?  Oh, and a Buenas ReTardes right back at ya!!   :D
Say when

crtreedude

chorizo = sausage, but here in Costa Rica it also means a small bribe...

That is because a small gift to a government clerk used to be very common - however, that practice has pretty much been done away since two ex-presidents are sitting in jail.  :o

Yes, learning Spanish will probably be necessary to follow this thread.

Perhaps we need a new thread "Harold does Costa Rica"  ;)
So, how did I end up here anyway?

Always needin to expand yer knowledge, EH, Roxie  ;D ;D :D  Thanks ::) ::)

Tryin to modify the username so I can access ALL the corners of this place.

Steve, when ya get that stuff stuck into the Container, the Shipping Broker should send the truck. Do NOT try to ship yourself. Let the Broker do it. You can just fly on down, and hep me set it all back up.  ;) ;D ;D

Been hittin the coffee pretty hard. Pics will have to wait. I don't have access to a download software for my new camera. It's packed in the container, along with my own computer.  ::)
