Hi guys,

What would you use to clean brass, without polishing it, or making it shiny?  There's a light fixture on Ebay I'm looking at--it's got a nice, old patina, but I'd wanna clean it up without taking any of the patina off.  Any ideas?

At first glance one would think you would THE person to know this one, but I guess you know about "polished" brass don't ya! ;)

does vinegar make brass shiny like it does copper?
