Greetings All,

Can anyone tell me what the going price per thousand is for sawn hardwood pallet stock?  Any help would be appreciated.

Depends where you're at.  We're more in the $300-350 range for cants.  Boards are in the $280-300 range.  Ties are higher, if you have tie quality logs.

Good grief, I can get$180 to $200 for a 1,000 of pallet logs.  That sure don't leave much for the sawyer's time.  Course, I probably not say, "Oh, that's to much" next time I take a load.  I figure he knows how to cut it to make a living or he'd be doing something else by now.
