Jeff

This year I think we will keep it simple. No puzzles, no games, no tricks, no searches.  :)  Entering the contest will be something that most any member can do.

This year I want to create a Christmas Album.

To enter, I need you to EMAIL me one one photo accompanied by a Christmas message. No optimization of the photo is necessary, I will take care of that. The photos must be Christmas related. It can be of your tree, or of your home, or your pets, or your Family, or anything that you think would be good to include in our "Album". Please also include a message to put with your photo. Everyone that does this will get their name put in the hat for the random drawing on Christmas Eve. I will post the names of the winners on Christmas Day.

To Enter you MUST do these things:

  • I must have your entry, using Forum time, by midnight December 20th
  • The Email subject must be: FORESTRY FORUM CHRISTMAS CONTEST.
  • Attach your Photo to the email

In the Body of the Email you must include:

  • Your full name and mailing address
  • YOUR FORUM USERNAME!!!
  • The Christmas message that you would like to include with your photo.

  • SEND EMAIL TO trees@forestryforum.com

I reserve the right to add to this contest a special prize for a special reason with special rules.

Any registered forum member is eligible to win except Tammy and I.

Some of your fellow members are admins and sponsors and they will be included in this contest. I want to see photos from them as well!!  :) If you have mutiple family members as members you can enter each member.

Details to follow on prizes and how to view the album!

PLEASE REVIEW ALL THE STEPS BEFORE SENDING IN YOUR ENTRY!

I think, contest or not, that this is the coolest way to wish all our friends a Merry Christmas!  I enjoy looking over the pictures and messages about twice everyday.  There are decorations, adorable children, cute dogs, pictures of items that mean a lot, and some breath taking outdoor shots.

Thanks Boss!   8)

Hey! I sent in a certifiable (as in crazy) Costa Rican snowman! What more do you want?  ::)

Do you have any idea how hard that was to find?! (Actually it is my next door neighbor...)

I have really enjoyed seeing what people have sent in.
So, how did I end up here anyway?

I had that picture sitting by the back door for about a week now.  No computer hooked up at my place yet, so I had to take it along to my parents' house to scan.  That's actually their dog, Sandy.  I put that hat on Maya the other week and she hid under the table so I couldn't snap a picture  :D

isawlogs

Thanks Jeff . I just been so busy lately ... and with the snow and the plowing ... just did not come together to get a pic . Would of had a nice one had the camera batteries been cooperating .  ::)

Sure like the way the album's coming together.  It's worth opening a lot of the pics to get the full effect of the scenery and the full cuteness factor of the kids.   Much of my family's looks only improve with application of medicinal libations........... ;D
