The mini mac and power mac , 2.0 cu.in. are 40:1 .

Ah, right yes, thank you. Bummer tho my Jonsy is 50:1...gonna hafta keep 2 diff cans...

This a decent little saw for a non-pro? Mom has had it forever, not used much, I learned on it when i was a kid, manual oiler and all.  ;D

You won't hurt the Jonsered using 40:1.
The saw should serve you well if you keep up the maintenance.

David B

Yes, I suppose the richer oil mix will prolly just make it last a little longer, eh? Thanks. Any idea how tight the nut should be on the flywhweel on the Jonsy 2050 Turbo? Thanks - David

Hm the Mac won't idle low enough for the chain to stop. Clean filter, fresh hi octane 40:1...what should should I look at first?

Probably needs a good carb overhaul or rebuild if the engine runs with the low adjustment closed.

David B

That's what I was thinking, but after fiddling with it more, figured out it was idling ok, must be the clutch-  yep broken spring...got another coming. Thank you!

BTW I found the manual for the saw - 1988  8) My mom is a good recordkeeper.

It does say the mix is 40:1 so that's prolly what ill run so  i can use it in the Jonsy too.
