In europe most used is hard alloy by Sandvik (http://www.hardmaterials.sandvik.com). What you use in USA for knives like this: http://www.udacha.ua/2_instr/2fn_f420.html and who is "well know" manufacturer for tools like this ? Thanks.

Try wisconsin knife works if you want the quality stuff.
