I can not find some of my stuff on the computer right now.  I was wondering what the forumala for estimating board footage in a log is?  I am in a hurry as I have to get a price for some who has a pile of logs to be sawn.

Thanks Jeff,  You got me out of a bind.......

Well actually it was a batch of white spruce that a friend had logged out last winter.  He didn't know any figures as to how much they logged because he cut all he had time to do.   Well these full tree length logs averaged 10-27" dia. and all averaged in the neighborhood of 65' long.  There was 120 logs there.    Guess I have about 40,000 bdft. to saw now.
