I was cutting firewood today and i ran out of gas and had to get more gas when i refilled  the tank the saw would loose power for about 2 seconds then  be okay then do this again  and the engine got very hot!

The gas was marine gas 91,  the saw ran fine with the gas i had before, but not this new stuff.

Any ways i drained the tank  and went to another gas station and got some regular gas.

Took it to the shop and it look like i had the chain on to tigh thats why the clutch had smoke coming out of it .

I bought a new 359 to replace this saw.

When you say marine gas, I assume you are referring to a premixed at the pump product. IF SO, the problem would be the oil they use for marine 2-cycle. NOT GOOD for high rpm air-cooled low mass egines like saws.
