Thanks, Ernie!  The Fourth has, for a long time, become one of those holidays that is just an excuse for a day off, a barbeque, and some adult beverages.  Here lately, though, it seems to have taken on more importance.  I hope that trend continues.

I spent the morning watching the movie "The Crossing" staring Jeff Daniels on the History Channel. Its the story of the days leading up to General Washington's crossing of the Delaware with a ragtag army and marching on Trenton to attack and defeat the professional Hessian army.

If you get a chance, see it.

 I got some pine sawed out today, but I'm going to get an ice cream sunday, and watch some fireworks tonight  8).
