I have a brother-in-law living in Port St. Lucie and he has, what he says, is a nice maple tree that is going to be taken down.  He says it should be no problem to drop it for someone that knows what they are doing.  There is a vacant lot next to him that the owner has given permission to drop it on.  I haven't seen it, so I can only relay what he said.  Said it should have two or three pretty good logs in it, and it is a large diameter tree.  He said it was a Silver Maple, but someone looked at it Tuesday and called it a "Southern Maple."  I'm not familiar with the southern maple!

Any one in that area interested, send me a private email and I will reply with the info needed to get in touch with him.

  Saint Lucie is just down the road from us.

  We saw for a wood Carver, and I will ask him if he's interested.

  IM me the contact info, and I will call the Carver today.  Thanks

  Just talked to the Carver. He IS interested. Get me the details.  Thanks
All truth passes through three stages:
   First, it is ridiculed;
   Second, it is violently opposed; and
   Third, it is accepted as self-evident.
