Tillaway

This is the GPS unit I have been using to traverse unit boundaries, map streams and roads, and layout stream buffers.  It is made by Corvallis Micro-Technologies and is capable of sub-meter real time accuracy.  The thing with the orange flap is the data logger that collects and stores the GPS data. Next to it on the right is the actual GPS unit with the RTCM beacon receiver strapped on top and the GPS receiver buried underneath.  Next to it are the batteries (3 Of them) each are about the size of a brick.  The white square looking thing is the antenna which is threaded onto a short pole.  I have been getting about 14,000 feet unit boundary traversed in about 6 hours.  Sure beats the old fashioned way. ;D
