Duramax, Komatsu signed a deal with Allied to use thier Ranger/ Caribou (not sure on the name) ,skidder. I'd be willing to bet thats a Allied machine in disguise. I was under the impression it was to be sold under the komatsu name though.  ???

now that you mention it , the nose of that machine resembles the Allied. I wouldn't think twice about buying one with the Valmet name behind it!They really know what they're doing when it comes to forestry equipment.

A guy out here runs one of those valmet/valtra forestry tractors. What a nice rig! He's got a front end loader, fransgaurd winch, cab gaurds, skid plates, and nice studded chains. it's a really impressive tractor. I'm kind of jelous  :D

A tractor of any kind wouldn't last a week here in the part of the woods, but they're probably much more comfortable to run. I'd be willing to bet the 765 would be as close as the forestry tractor as you can get.
