This was cool, so I had to pass it along.  I'm a backpacker, and I've noticed a trend toward "ultralight" gear.  I came across a Web site that has instructions for making a backpacking stove out of Pepsi cans:  http://www.pcthiker.com/pages/gear/pepsistove.shtml

I made one this morning, but I've yet to test drive it.  Might be a good rainy day project, if you're looking for one.

Just what I need another rainy day project ;D.  I've got more of those than nice day projects :o

Maybe consider it a "it's-too-hot-to-work-so-let's-find-a-shady-workshop" project.

I've got a pretty nice collection of those myself.

I hate to be negative in this one Phil but think about it.

"it's-too-hot-to-work-so-let's-find-a-shady-workshop" So lets build a stove? ;)

This is pretty cool, but I have a better solution. I am going to show it to somebody that has time to build one for themselves AND ME!

Now you are talking, Jeff.  That is the way I like to get my projects completed, assinging them to someone else. 8) 8)
