I see Jeff's been his busy self again.  The calculators and more are back on the toolbar.

Jeff,  If it was not for your bad shoulder we would not be able to keep up with your work.  Thanks again for the good job.

I'll be doing a way with the fancy. I am trying to add something that will work for all browsers. Problem is I am starting over. I may have a test for you folks not using I.E. in a little bit, just to see if what I am doing will work.

You should see a link that says forum extras now, I need to know if fire fox browsers can 1. See it.  2. go to a new page with it where you may see some text about calculators.

My Firefox is working too.  I was wondering where the knowledge base was.  I kept reading about it in old posts, but couldn't find it anywhere!   ??? ??? ???

Ironwood

Hey,

Could you guys decide which side to put the thing on! The women on the otherside of my CUBICLE think I am getting fresh winking at them. (blinking left and right) get it?  ::) ::) ::) ::) No real cubicle, just a fun thought.

Why does the Knowledge Base open in a popup window, while the Milestones page I can open in a new tab (I love tabbed browsing in Firefox 8)).  I dislike popups.

Jeff

Milestones is incorporated into the forum software frame work. THe knowledge base is a seperate program from the forum.

Please remember that NOTHING you see in there is set in stone or even considered a working part of the forum again yet. I am still trying to see what works and what does not and how to organize. Usually websites do that behind the scenes. Me,  I dont care. My screw ups are out there for everybody to see. ;D

Once I allowed popups  for the forestryforum in the tools menu, it works in my Firefox.

Jeff

Having the knowledgebase "pop-up", was my idea to keep you from accidently closing out the whole forum after reading in the knowledge base. Its actually not a "pop up"  because you choose for it to open. Its no different then opening a new window other then it does not have the address bar and all that stuff on top and actually gives you a fuller view. If you close it, you still have the forum there to continue browsing.

Obviously you're not a believer in the populer adage "If at first you don't suceed  --Give up"

Seems like all too many of the TV generation these days give up before they even try.

Ernie

Tom Sawyer

Jeff,  Could you make the Knowledge Base come up with all of the address bar, etc. included?  That way I can open different topics in the Knowledge Base in a new tab, instead of having to read them one at a time.  I only have dialup here, so I like to load a whack of pages, disconnect, and then read them.
