Patty, my girls can type super fast, from chatting online with their friends, but you can't read it, no spelling at all.

As far as Norm, he's just feeling pity for those poor homely girls. ;D

In my late 60's senior year of high school I had to take an elective.  I took a half year of typing, the last half year in woodworking. I've used more knowledge from those two classes than any other.  Made a little money in college typing others' papers because typing was still a novel skill for us boys back then.

Had manual typewriters with one electric we took turns using.  I was the only boy with about 20 girls in typing.  Pure pleasure for me, don't think it made any difference with the girls.

Wow, you must have really been challeged if you didnt make it through high school until you were in your late 60's.  Most guys around here that I know give up if they dont get there by 19 or 20. ;)
