Drove through a neighbouring town yesterday and passed the DANG RESTAURANT. Vietnamese cuisine so no grits.

Ya shoulda checked.  The Vietnamese have had grits since 1968 when I was a resident of their native land. ;D :D :D :D :D

I was in Raleigh, NC a few years ago, and saw a Chinese restaurant called "Hung Chow."    :o :o   I opted to not stop in.  :D :D :D :D

Several years ago I was in Kowloon teaching a class with folks from all over the SE Asia area. At lunch I was kidding about how this meat tastes funny, wonder if it's dog. The guys from the Phillipines informed me that they only eat dog meat if it's one breed they raise specifically for that purpose but would never eat their pets.  :o

I ate rice whenever I was in their country. :D
