Probably trying to upload a photo larger than allowed. Every new phone gets bigger photos. You need to use a lower resolution.

Or... Maybe it was an unknown file. I only use .jpg files.

I do the photo editing on my computer and then upload the result

The phone camera is a 20 megapixel. Couldn't find a program on the computer that would lower it. Will check around for a free program and try that.

do you have windows paint?
if so then use it to open the photo, then "save as" a separate photo.
if the physical size, Length x width, is to large then do "ctrl w" and reduce the photo.
i generally use 50%

That program is probably the worst option but it will work. The best option is to reduce the resolution in your phone settings. Unless you are making wall size enlargements, nobody needs a twenty megapixel camera.
