I got an idea for a poster frame but don't really know what the best wood would be. The frame would be black, but I want some kind of wood with wide cracks or holes in it so I can fill it up with a red resin. I saw someone do something similar with Pecky Cypress, but its proving difficult to find that in small quantities. It's be for a 11x17 in poster of Vincent Price from Madhouse.
