 :D That 4 degree blade looks like it might need to be sharpened. It left a bit of a wavy cut prior to exiting that melon ;D ;D ;D Maybe it just needs a bit more set!

Does the saw lube need to be on or off, to prevent a buildup on the blade?

What lubricant did you use?  Bud Light, and plenty of it. ;D

The guy that brought it in swore up and down it didn't have any seeds in it.

What they all say, No seeds, At least it was straight and not bowed with big knots.

He couldn't do that with just simple set he would need accuset II I'm pretty sure lol
