Title: Solar Kiln Drying Food stuffs
Post by: David M on April 29, 2017, 09:43:53 PM
So...Has anyone here ever used their solar kiln to dry things other than wood, such as jerky or in season plants like stinging nettle? I'm thinking of fashioning some drying racks for the super hot clear days, any thoughts?

I have heard from people that have used the VT design solar kiln to dry fruits and vegetables.  Vents must have fine mesh screen.
