Title: Red paint chips.
Post by: kensfarm on March 10, 2017, 10:36:00 PM
Worked in the barn the day after the big storms.. easy to notice all the red paint chips on the white oak flooring.  Went outside and you could see circles where the hail hit the boards.  I was on the back porch until it started whiting out.. went inside somewhat nervous.  It turned on the hazard flashers on one tractor then noticed it broke the plastic off the big round temp gauge into multiple pieces.  Glad the roof is still on and no crops were planted.. mother nature seems unhappy more then usual these days.

No such thing a a steady weather pattern anymore.
Does anyone remember back when the only warm spell in the winter was the January thaw?

I do.
This year January was one big thaw with a few cold days.

I do as well.  It wasn't that long ago when weather was steady on.  I'm thinking 20 or 25 years or so?

January thaw, how right you are.We all looked forward to that. I don't think it rained too much growing up from Dec to March.
