Can anyone recommend someone to put up a timber frame structure in Southern Ohio? I have plans for a 2,000 sf. barn style home. I am seeking someone relatively local to get me dried in (frame up, board and bat siding on, roof system, windows an doors).
Ideally I would like to use someone who will mill some of my trees. I have mostly mature red and white oak so I know it might not be ideal for the whole project. None the less - I would really like to incorporate some of the materials on site.
Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.
If you go to the timber framers guild web site at: http://www.tfguild.org/ you can select "find a timber frame company" and on that page, enter your location (city and state) and it will list the companies in OH that maybe able to help you.
Good luck with your project.

Thank you very much, Jim. I had looked around a lot and not seen that resource before. I looked up my zip code and the closet company (100 miles) seems to be offering fewer services than they did in the past. The next few (around 125 miles) seem to be doing some pretty high-end complete builds. I will continue searching.
Thanks again!

John: Many years ago, I helped him with his catalogue drawings.
