Title: Cellulitis, I have it!

Started as a small scratch on my right calf. Now I'm on antibiotics and it will be starting the 3rd day tomorrow. 100.4 temp now . If its not showing inprovement by Saturday afternoon I am heading back to er. They say 3-4 days and it should so improvement.

Make sure you keep it clean and let it heal, that is nothing to fool with.

It is a skin infection, common in diabetics. Maybe @doctorb can weigh in here

I'm not diabetic, over weight yes! Seems to be better today. Nasty stuff fer shure!

Cellulite is a complicated problem. There are a number of factors about the body that contribute to cellulite.

To get you started on the right foot, you absolutely must do long duration, low impact cardio. Ideally, walking on the treadmill at a brisk pace (4.0 or 4.5 mph) or on the elliptical machine at 60-65rpm ( I prefer it (http://jonsguide.org/best-proform-elliptical-reviews/))  with NO resistance. You have to be sweating, but not panting for air. Bring water and drink it the entire time.
Long duration means a MINIMUM of 40 minutes.
TONS AND TONS OF WATER
Eat A LOT of protein
Do not add salt to anything. Get salt naturally from the food, whatever it is.
