Title: Another vine
Post by: cliffreaves on August 16, 2016, 08:40:48 PM
This one has me stumped.   It's a vine growing up my chain link fence right next to the passion flower vine.  Sorry this is the only picture I took.

Looks like Ampelopsis cordata, a type of wild grape. Like a lot of other wild grapes it is often called raccoon grape.

Barely edible to humans but many types of wildlife from birds to deer eat it. Also quite attractive to my eye.

Thank you bluthum.  The Asian version kept tripping me up.  I definitely think you're right.
