Her name is T8500 last name GMC.
She does not pee or poop. Clean and dry.
She born in 2002 and only traveled 9,000 miles ( oh yes! under 10 thousand)
Also got for her a boy-friend. He will ride her in near future.

I am hoping to sale it. Some one needs 30 ft dry box.

PTO (Chelsea) installed. Cost = $2,300
Dual hydraulic pump 20+20 GPM x 2,000 PSI (bushing style, can go upto 3,000 PSI). Cost =$1,200
One on fuel tanks converted to be hydraulic oil tank.
Sub-frame for log banks welded and installed. It made of 4" x 4" x 0.25" square tubing.
2 hydraulic pressure lines made of steel run from PTO to back, where loader will be.
Sub-frame is used as return line. Holes cut and fittings are welded.

Neat truck but I'm confused (not a trucker). The axles look pretty far forward (long tail end) and you moved them further forward? Are you going to trim off some of the tail? Is it not good to have a 30' bed to haul some long logs, or would they be too heavy?

A: Weight is not a problem - Maneuverability IS. Getting into tight spots is my specialty. I have some friend (See Picture)

he got huge log truck. Some times he can't get into places where I need him to be. My truck will be About 26 ft bumper to bumper. His truck is 40 ft + 34 ft trailer.

Sure looks like it could do some serious hauling - looking good.
Is the purpose of the sub frame carrying the return oil to give it a chance to cool off or to add more capacity? Will there be anything attached/welded to this sub frame?

A: GVW = 52,350 lb. So far it is 14,000lb. Hope payload will be about 22,000 lb

A: Valume. Cool. No extra piping. And strength of superstructure.

A: Sure. 4 in x 6 in x 0.25 in crossmembers. with pockets and uprights. Qty = 5
I wouldn't recommend using the square tube sub frame as part of the hydraulic loop, even for the return circuit. Too many stress risers, flexing and the like. Seems like a leak is inevitable and almost unrepairable after it happens. Iron pipe is cheap.
Wow! Nice job! That truck will be really nice to have. Dealing with wood removel on tree jobs is a real hassle but can score some nice logs!Thanks for posting!
what are you going to cover the motor with and what motor is in it I would think the single frame would crack faster or bend jmop
