I got the plainer head set up on the mill today and surfaced a few slabs .I am very happy with this setup I don't think I'll be wrestling slabs through my plainer sled setup anymore.

They are a huge step up. I've also used it to straighten and dimension timbers. I've gotten the drum assembly from an old flooring sander. I'd love to dream up an easy hookup of that to the mill to follow the planer.
