wide planer--old, heavy, reliable .....and cheap
« on: July 22, 2017, 01:03:30 pm »
Well, I need to  dress about 12,000 bf of lumber, so am in the market  for  a heavy old planer. I tried the  gubmint auctions and always  ALMOST  win.
If you have, or know of somebody who has  an old Powermatic, Oliver, etc planer gathering dust, pleas get in touch with me @ 615 605  7679. That's Middle Tennessee (but I will travel). thanks
If you  don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else!

Yes, I am willing to travel...but I hope you're not in  Houghton!  A powermatic 20 would suit me, esp if it has a reverse feature. Please do let me know soon, because I am  preparing to bid  on an Oliver that is up  for auction on the 31st. Thanks  for your reply. My email is  lwn1948@gmail.com, and my # is  615 605 7679
