No leads guys? Lol im dyeing to start this project but i need a mill to start with. Ive owned 2 belsaw mills in the past and im kicking myself for selling them now! My plan is to build a fully hydrolic carrage for the mill and log turner and hopefully end up with a quick little production mill for sawing pallet lumber

If you are going to put that much in it, why not start with something a little heavier duty?

I also think one could be bought like what you want cheaper than built these days.

How about a resaw instead?
Lucas 6-13+slabber, Mr. Sawmill bandmill, orange chainsaws, JD SSL, Case Backhoe, farm tractors, trailers, and 150ish acres of trees.  Fledgling woodshop with CNC router, laser engraver, Woodmaster 712, and a Berlin 108 moulder (project).  Oh, and a lovely (patient) wife and four offbearers.

I like the design of the belsaw mill the only weak point as far as i am concerned is the lack of automation and the light weight carrage. As far as the resaw is concerned the company i work for has a west planes 2 head resaw, 08 woodmizer lt40 hydrolic, pendu jr gang resaw, meadows fully hydrolic circle mill with 4 blade edger so we have all of our bases covered. I would just like to find a cheap belsaw mill to tinker with more or less. I would be building it as i stumble upon parts rather than just buying everything i need flat out.
