DanG, no worries, I'm still single  ;D  The only female in the house is the four legged type.  No the bedding isn't for her, I clean up enough dirt and sawdust from her as it is  :D

Red, the bigger logs in this batch are a little over 12" in diameter.  I had some a few years back big enough to cut one log into four 6x6's.  I almost hate to cut this stuff into framing lumber, but it's for someone else, and a lot of these logs are kinda small anyway.  The wood is beautiful, a deep red-orange, and it smells really sweet.  A friend of mine that does tree work got asked by a woman what was wrong with that larch in her yard, it lost all its needles.  She didn't believe him when he said it would come back in the spring  :-/

Few days ago a fellow from Fla. called me said he was coming up to a lake not to far from us. He asked about what to wear. I told him layers that you can mix...weather changes fast here. He called wednesday the temp was 76, Friday morning we were 7 and had a foot of snow on the ground. Farmers are not happy, don't imagine Phil will be either!
