certification is not required in some states but is in others, Im told that in WA you have to register the mill but in QLD the definition of a mill is different.  A mill where the log moves need to be registered other are not classed as a sawmill.  You will however (in QLD) have the workcover people after you for site OH&S.

Don holds Mill operator courses and is in Uki so would be available to you.  

I am having an open day here 17/18 (friday and Saturday) to show our new big mill and new sawblade technology.  If you can get down here Don and a few other EcoSaw owners will be here as well.  Good place to pick thier brains.
