Online workshop-2-21-15 How to keep track of your joints
« on: February 21, 2015, 07:54:18 am »
My regular scheduled workshop for February is today Saturday the 21th.

We were hoping that Matt could host another workshop at his farm to work on his frame pieces making some post top tenons and other joints in his posts pieces.

However his schedule won't work out to have the needed pieces milled out in time.

I have decided that this workshop will be an "online" workshop.

My idea is to host a "gotomeeting" event where we will meet online and I'll teach you how to use an excel spreadsheet to keep track of your joints laid out and cut in your frame. You will receive a copy of the spreadsheet which you can customize to your frame design. I can assist you to customize it if needed.

The cost for this "online" workshop is $5 each, with a portion going to he Forestry Forum.
To sign up for this workshop you'll need to send me an email, to jrsawmill@verizon.net
I'll send you a link to the online meeting to be held at 11 am Saturday for one hour.
It will be recorded as well.
To pay me for the workshop, you can paypal me the $5, if you have a paypal account.
If you don't have a paypal account, I can create a paypal invoice which you can pay online with a credit card whether or not if you have a paypal account.

If you're a beginner or not then this workshop is for you, because it is very important to understand how to keep track of all the joints you need to layout and cut in your frame.
Please sign up for this workshop now.
