Nice shots.  When bucks are in velvet they will seldom if ever butt heads/antlers.  It's stand up and fight like a man time.  Somehow they seem to know that it is tender upstairs.   ;)

The shot could have been better...
A 1/10th of a second later his mouth was clamped on the camera lens.
He was eating this fish that was over 2 feet long...
