The Plymouth tractor was built by the Fate-Root-Heath Corp.  Only 215 of these tractors built in 1934 were called Plymouths.  After losing the lawsuit filed by Chrysler they were renamed the Silver King :D  The Moultire Show has been moved towards the top of my list to attend.  Can't go wrong with antique iron and forest industry stuff all at the same place 8) 8)

Corley, I'd be plum tickled if you'd come down for the show, next year. All you other farmer types would get a kick out of it, too. The Forestry section is only a very small part of the Expo. In the spring, they have a mini-expo and demonstrate all the ground prep and planting stuff. Then at the big show, they harvest the several hundred acres of crops that they planted in the spring. They have tractor-drawn trams to take folks out to the fields to watch the harvest eqpt.
I think they must have every model of every brand of tractor made in the world today on display. Ever heard of a Johnson tractor? They gottem! ;)
We had a good representation of sawmills, too. There was Baker, Woodmizer, Peterson, Kasco, Hud-son, D&L Double Cut, Eco-saw, and Lucas, that I can remember. Usual participants that were absent this year were, T.A.Schmidd, Southern Saw, and Mobile Dimension.
Any of you that can possibly get down here next year, will be guaranteed a good time. :)

Yeah, TimberKing and Timber harvester and some others didn't show either.  I'd like to see that big band from Canada com back again. It was a two way cutting 6" band.  Wow!  Can't remember the name right off hand. Meadows was there last year too with a portable circle saw.

A couple of Toms. Tom_in_Mo on the left, and just a plain old, everyday, garden variety, regular Tom on the right.

Lindsay Flett of D&L Double Cut workin' the Eco-saw, with 2 Double Cuts in the background. The Bailey's/Lucas tent is that yeller and white thing. Looking back that way, there was sawmills about as far as ya could see. ;D

Lindsay helps Arthur sort out the Eco-Saw after it's long, long trip from Down Under.  This was a 15 year old mill that was in surprisingly good condition. Those space-frame beams are made of stainless steel. It looks like a good bet for use in remote areas, with it's simplicity of operation and durable construction.

Now that the show is over and everybody is back home. I would like to take a moment to thank Captain and DanG for their help, I would have loved to have gone but there was to much to do here. Captain told me that he sent a tool back with the Kiwi's if it made it there it will be our first tool to go to the southern hemisphere.
