Polycarbonate Solar Panels?

I am planning on building a "solar dry kiln", size  24' x 24'. Are polycarbonate greenhouse panels suitable for this application? I noticed that you can buy them at Lowes Home Improvement Store.

Any insight on building a solar kiln will be appreciated.

I used patio panels called weatherglaze they come in 10 year or 20 year panels . I bought mine at Menards they also have them at home depot around here. Good luck in building your solar kiln I realy like mine  Carl B.
