If you want a better understanding of chain, Oregon has a nifty little booklet called Oregon Maintenance and Safety Manual.

Kevin, Thanks for that, I emailed them and a fella emailed back thanking me. Three days later the book was in my mailbox. It's a DanG handy reference. I'm gonna put it in the coffee can that sits on the base of my chain grinder along with the manuals and such. :P
