Hey! I got a phone call today and there was a rimsaw on the other end!  It sounded awsome.

Reminded me of one of those movies where they let the kidnap victim call home....

Tammy tried to bull dog it and it dug a hole churning its wheel. I gotta get the plow on it and see how much power it really has. :)

 :) :) :) It´s even smaller than the old Gravley I had!

Beside the rubber wheels I also had the iron wheels with reduction gear. Plow, blade, a plate in the front with a lot of holes to fasten things in to make a suitable tool ...................and a rotaing  vertical "soil mill".
Have anyone seen that?

Swede.
Had a mobile band sawmill, All hydraulics  for logs 30\"x19´, remote control. (sold it 2009-04-13)
Monkey Blades.Sold them too)
Jonsered 535/15\". Just cut firewood now.

Yep, original colors. Or at least DanG close. Was able to get paint chips when we disassembled. Turns out Ford engine blue and Tractor yellow were almost perfect matches.

Swede, this has rubber bonded to the wheel, and then the "traction track" bolts around it depending on the operation. I have the front plow attachment for it.

Jeff,  Nothin' wrong with Ford blue 8),,, front plow(?) I would have guessed a rear plow,  I want to see video of that operation!
Swede, I believe we are talking about the same machine, I have the 36" mower deck, 24" rotatiller and the vertical "rotovator" I believe is what they called it.  Alway keeping an eye out for more parts, would like that reduction drive setup up for tilling.  It was bought originally by my uncle Herb in the late fortys.  I also have the original manual around here someplace.  They made alot of attachments for those old machines.  BWW

Great going Jeff. Good to see it running, and it brings back memories of being behind the handle bars where Tammy is, and hanging on (was 12-13 I believe) We had the cultivator arrangement on the front. It's somewhat vivid in my mind, but I'd be hardpressed to make a drawing of it.
The colors are a bit bright, if I recall correctly. The blue was a tad bit darker, and I thought the belt pulley's were a grey or dull silver color. But I think yours looks sharp.

Thanks for the update.

That rig would come in handy if ya could attach a spade on the rear to make rows for yer spud seed in the garden. Maybe you could attach a set of cultivators to hill the spuds when they break ground, but maybe the single wheel would be running over the tops. I suppose a single wing could be mounted to go up one side, then down the other, to hill the spuds. Might not be heavy enough though and probably off centred. hmmmm wish I had that rig :) ;)

Not being a farmer. I would say I misspoke myself on the front attachment. I think its probably a cultivator. I'll post some pics when I get it together.

You might not think you're a farmer Jeff, but you've been hanging around us other dirt scratchers long enough that you pretty near qualify. Great job on the tractor!

It'd cultivate ok, IF you were doin' two rows at a time. I think I see a leetle problem with doin' one though.  ::)

Stan:

Yeah, if you have the wheel run between the rows and wing the soil from behind the wheel track outward onto the rows, works great. When your on a outside row along the garden edge, the spade will grab a bit in the sod ground though. ;) Most cultivators on tractors hoe both sides of each row, that was my train of though. ;)

Hmm looks like its being used as a harrow or Vibra-Shank to prepare the soil for planting. :) A modern cultivator has a set of winged spades to hill rows with, similar to a plough. But, it does look similar to a hand cultivator with those 3 teeth.
