« on: April 07, 2004, 05:49:43 pm »

I would like to see a golf type shirt, WITH a POCKET.

Sounds like it's gettin complicated and the Boss may not go for it ??? ::) ::) Lots of money involved. Have to ante up before placing the order, and keeping things sorted out could be a problem???  I'm still for it, though  ;D ;D ;D

I brought this up when the new hats were being ordered as I'm not a hat wearer and have talked to the Big Guy about it since then also.  Cost is the big factor.  A grey T-shirt would suit me fine.  Since I'm no longer a smoker a pocket wouldn't be necessary.

OA - ya know shirts can be pretty expensive, even when you buy them in quantity. Different styles and colors might be hard to do. Also you might want to check with Jeff before you start taking orders. ;)

Mark

PS - I would like to have one if they come in 3X

Ok then we'll just get one style pocket only! I'm not sure what colors we'll want but I think I can get the Bossman to go fer it. I'll have to ask him tonight. I think it would be kinda nice to have a shirt that matches my hat. ;) I like the hat too it just needs some extra advertising to go with it.

Hey Jeff, check your IMs I just sent you one. Right now this is just a thought, I'm not commiting anyone to force them to sell anything. If I find a good designer in the area I might do this for us. I'll have to check it out first. I may start selling the shirts IF I can find someone that will make them for a good price.

I can be open to suggestions but when it comes to something as personal as clothing with the forestry forum on it, thats got to start with me. Sorry to look like the forum ass tonight but dats da way I feel about dis one.

I'm sorry about that Jeff, I didnt realise that you were so sensitive about some things like this. you can delete this thread if you feel that it should be deleted. Lets  just hope I dont get any ideas of this nature again. I may ban myself and not even realise it.

Hay Jeff,  Now that you’ve got your dander settled back down, how about this idea?

Maybe you could design up some FF stuff and have it printed up on iron-on transfers.  Maybe a couple of sizes and color schemes, etc.  That way guys could get the FF transfers and stick them on whatever kind of shirt or jacket they want.  Would save a bunch in up front cost and shipping and settle the problem of shirt color, style and size.

NO POCKETS!  They just fill up with sawdust ;D

I still want a couple of hats Jeff.  I just havent slowed down long enough to send the check.  I wil be back next week and will try to get it out.

If you interested, I can put you in contact with our Hat & Shirt company out of the St. Louis Area. He does a fine job for us.  Let me know if you interested and I will send you his email.

Thanks

I'm glad we all calmed down some, for a minute there I was startin to get a bit scared Jeff would actually do something like jump through my monitor at me. :D Just joking but I do like the idea of iron on FF transfers, they sound like somethin that would really sell like wildfire spreads. From now on though Jeff, I think I'll leave yo to think up the FF merchandise.

What's an iron?   :D    Haven't seen one of those used in years.  I think the last person to use one was June Cleaver.

Could have been Ron, but I think it was Loretta Young in Father Knows Best.  ;D

Butch thinks a more ecology theme for the shirt would be nice and he said he would pose lifting his leg against the FF tree. Ain't he a great dog? :D
