I knew Chet built furniture and sure am glad I finally got to see his work.  That is some beautiful furniture. Chet has surpassed being a woodworker and is a craftsman. I only wish I could build stuff like that. Thanks Jeff for showing his craftsmanship to us.  I know he does his cutting with a Grizzly table saw.  :)

That is really top quality workmanship Chet !  what kind of finish do you put on when youre done, looks like a natural tone ? sure looks great !  Everytime I go across the u.p. my fiance asks if I could bring some pastys down from the u.p. , I guess thats something I have to try yet . The first time she said it I had a pretty stupid look on my face !  :D Oh I love the u.p. !

The red oak stuff in the pictures is first rubbed with a mix of pore filler and a lite tone stain, then followed with coats of oil based poly. The cherry piece is done with a hand rubbed poly only.
Unclebuck, I can't believe ya keep passin' through and never tried a pasty.   :-/
