So it is Red Beech! Wait 'til the guys in New Zealand see this!

I work with rough lumber everyday but I never guessed the beauty that these segmented bowls bring out. The Koa reflects the light like jewels. I'm amazed and forever indebted. Thank you.

Sawwood,

This bowl is so beautiful. I can't thank you enough. Is it Red Beech and Koa? If so, my investors in New Zealand will want to give you a job.  8)

Is that walnut at the top and oak on the bottom?

I love it. Thank you. There will be a big picture at our website and you will get proper credit.

Glad you like the bowl Den. The top rim is walnut and the bottom is honey locust. It has 5 coats of wiping oil and then
buffed out and waxed. I sure do like the way Koa and Beech turns.

Pretty cool. When you click on 'READ MORE' about the bowl, it brings you to this thread.

Hi Den. That a good shot of the hat and bowl on you web
site. I may have to fix you up with a new bowl to show on
you site so people will know that your kils do work good.

Real nice work Sawwood, careful that turning can get to be habit forming. :D

Worrying about Sawwood's turning addiction now is a bit late, that horse left the barn a while back.

Nice work, by the way, Sawwood.  I'll keep you posted on "Plan A".
