7'3" posts,  3" and up - 75.00/cord
100" posts 3" and up - 95.00/cord
100" bolts 7" and up - 170.00/cord
9'3" bolts 7" and 8" only - 200.00/cord
10'3" posts,  3" - 1.70 each
10'3" posts,  4" and 5" - 2.50 each

On 100" posts, 3" and up for Douglas Fir I can get $  .15 a running foot.  tha equates to $1.20 for the posts, up to 7".  How many posts do you folks get per cord?

Well,  Frank,  obviously that depends on the sizes,  I actually never counted the posts!!  If I use stakes on my F-250,  and chain and load-bind them down,  I can get about 3/4 cord on.  Usually I pile them to the side until I get 10 cords and call in a truck,  depending on road conditions.  They scale me kinda high because I never bring them junk.  Good way to get rid of tops,  and other stuff you don't want to saw.  I suppose you could calculate the amount of posts per cord,  if all the posts were the same size.  It isn't Superior Cedar,  it's a fence company in Ingalls,  but since I drive past Superior all the time,  I'll have to stop in and have a chat next spring.  Jeff is making a really cool looking site for them,  check it out!
